These items will be shipped within one week of purchase.

Each item is meticulously handmade in an independent studio in Japan by KIYATA. Please note that cancellations are not possible as these items are limited in availability.
As the products are crafted from natural wood, slight variations in color and size may occur, making each piece truly unique.

There are specific conditions for the sale of KIYATA's works. We kindly ask each customer to read and agree to each condition before making a purchase.
LIMIT FOR NUMBER OF ITEMS PER CUSTOMER
Due to the limited number of pieces available, we kindly ask each customer to adhere to the following purchase limits to ensure that as many people as possible have the chance to own a KIYATA piece:
2 PRE-ORDER PIECES*
AND/OR
UP TO 6 IN-STOCK PIECES**
*PRE-ORDER LIMIT
Each pre-order piece is limited to one per customer.
(For example, you cannot purchase 2 Whale Lamps, but it is fine to purchase 1 Whale Lamp and 1 Brown Bear Clock.)
**IN-STOCK LIMIT
Baskets are limited to 1 basket per customer, regardless of the design.
*In-Stock items will be shipped now and pre-order items in April 2025.

ABOUT SHIPPING
WHERE WE SHIP TO:
All items ship from Japan to most countries worldwide, except Japan and China, where KIYATA regularly holds exhibitions. For customers in these countries, we kindly ask that you visit their exhibitions to make your purchases in person.
*We do ship to Hong Kong and Taiwan.
*We do not ship to third-party freight forwarders.
Orders with a shipping address set to forwarders may be canceled.
SHIPPING COST
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of the package. Most items will be shipped via UPS or EMS (Japan Post) with full tracking.
Smaller items may be shipped via Registered Mail, but we are always happy to ship via UPS or EMS for an additional shipping fee upon request.
Remote/Extended area delivery charges may apply and will be invoiced if applicable according to UPS regulations.
When multiple items are purchased in a single order, we may ship them together or separately, depending on the items purchased, to ensure that each item is well protected.
IMPORT TAX/CUSTOM CHARGES
Customs duties and fees will be required upon delivery for each parcel valued over $800 for customers in the US.
Customs duties, fees, and VAT will be charged for most packages sent to EU countries, as well as the UK, Canada, Singapore, Australia and others.
Customs thresholds vary by country. Please check your country's regulations for specific information.
Please note that these charges are the responsibility of the customer, not UGUISU. If you refuse to pay this fee and the package is returned to us, we will only be able to refund the cost of the item, as shipping fees are non-refundable. If there are return shipping fees incurred, this amount will be deducted from the item cost when processing the refund.
ORDER PROCESSING TIME
For In-Stock items we will prepare each shipment accordingly. Please allow some extra time for dispatch during the KIYATA online exhibition.
PAYMENT OPTION
For the KIYATA Sale we accept credit card payment via Stripe. All orders are processed in USD.
ORDERING KIYATA ITEMS TOGETHER WITH OTEHR ITEMS FROM UGUISU COLLECTION
If you purchase any in-stock KIYATA items alongside other UGUISU items that can be shipped together at no extra cost, we will make the necessary adjustments and process a partial shipping refund.

HANDMADE PRODUTS:
Please keep in mind that wood is a unique, natural material, and all of KIYATA's products are handmade. As such, you can expect some differences from the images shown. All measurements are approximate, and the actual item you receive may vary slightly.
All KIYATA handcrafted wooden pieces are carved from walnut wood, with most pieces painted and finished with polymer wood coating and oil. These items are carefully made with love in KIYATA's studio just outside of Tokyo by a wonderful small team.
LIMIT FOR NUMBER OF ITEMS PER CUSTOMER:
Due to the limited number of pieces offered, we kindly ask each customer to purchase a limited number of items to ensure that as many customers as possible have the opportunity to purchase their desired pieces.
PRE-ORDER ITEMS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
Please note that all pre-order sales are final once confirmed. The amount will be charged to your credit card at the time of checkout, and we will not be able to accept returns or exchanges for pre-order items. Please ensure you check the details of the items, noting that they will not arrive before April 2024. We may cancel orders that do not comply with one or more of the rules and/or conditions stated here.
