We Ship Worldwide
We ship most orders via Japan Post, with FedEx occasionally used as an alternative.
ORDER PROCESSING
We carefully pack and ship each order within 5 business days of receiving it.
If you need your order processed sooner, leave a note in the "Special Instructions" box at checkout or email us—we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
CUSTOMS & IMPORT TAXES
FOR US CUSTOMERS:
Import duties and taxes are included in our product prices, and brokerage fees are included in the shipping cost.
This means the total you see at checkout is the final amount you’ll pay — there will be no additional fees or charges from the delivery company when your order arrives.
FOR CUSTOMERS IN OTHER COUNTRIES:
Import duties, taxes, and any applicable fees may be collected upon delivery, depending on your country’s regulations.
Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes that may apply.
Please check the customs policies for your country before placing your order.
If you refuse to pay the VAT or import fees and the parcel is returned to us:
Shipping fees and gift wrapping costs are non-refundable.
SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order.
Once you enter your shipping address at checkout, you’ll see all available shipping options.
SHIPPING OPTIONS & DELIVERY TIME
We ship worldwide from Japan using reliable international carriers. Delivery times vary depending on the destination and shipping method selected. The estimates below are provided for reference only and may be affected by customs processing or other unforeseen delays.
Japan Post
Final delivery is handled by the local postal service in the destination country (such as USPS in the United States, Royal Mail in the United Kingdom, or Canada Post in Canada).
Postal services may experience delays during November and December due to increased seasonal volumes.
EMS :
5 to 8 business days or more
→Usually the fastest and most reliable shipping option.
●Customs clearance may cause additional delays, particularly for shipments to the EU.
Economy International Mail :
8 to 15 business days or More
→Tracking provided. No signature is required upon delivery.
International Parcel by sea/surface:
2 months or more (available only upon request)
→Recommended for large or heavy items and for those who don’t mind waiting a couple of months or more in exchange for more affordable shipping costs.
Fedex International Connect Plus (for USA):
We currently tend to avoid this shipping option, as shipments can often experience delays during customs clearance.
4-8 Business Days (*please allow for all possible customs delays.)
Weekday delivery without signature is the standard service.
Faster delivery options or signature-required delivery can be arranged for an additional fee. Please contact us or leave a note at checkout if you wish to add these options.
PLEASE NOTE:
All delivery times listed above are estimates provided by third-party shipping carriers.
UGUISU is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs procedures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
We are also not responsible for any import taxes, customs duties, or additional fees imposed by the destination country other than USA. These are the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery times may be longer for rural or remote locations, and during busy seasons such as Christmas and other holidays.
If you would like your order to be processed more quickly or have any special instructions, please leave a note at checkout or email us - we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
ADDITIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
Some items may not be available for shipping to certain countries due to agreements with the makers. Any such restrictions will be noted on the individual product pages. If an item marked as unavailable for your destination is purchased, your order may be canceled.
Depending on the contents of your order and the destination, we may use an alternative shipping method without prior notice to ensure safe and efficient delivery. Any alternative shipping method will be of an equivalent or faster service level.
We do not ship to package forwarding services. If your shipping address is linked to a forwarding company, we will contact you to request an alternative address or may need to cancel your order.
If you place multiple separate orders to the same address, we may combine them into one shipment to reduce packaging and shipping costs.
Please note: FedEx and UPS cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. Please provide a physical street address for delivery.
PRE-ORDERS AND BACKORDERS
tems marked as Pre-order or Backorder will be shipped once they are ready.
If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order/backorder items, the entire order will be held and shipped together once all items are available.
If you would like the in-stock items to be shipped sooner, we recommend placing a separate order for them.
Backordered items typically ship within 1–2 weeks unless otherwise noted on the product page.
PAYMENT
We accept credit card payments via Shopify Payments, as well as Shop Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and PayPal. Your payment information is securely transmitted through these providers and is never stored on our site.
RECYCLING PACKING MATERIALS
At UGUiSU, we care about the environment and strive to minimize waste. To help with this, we may reuse or recycle materials such as cardboard boxes, paper, and air cushions when packing your order.
If you prefer not to receive your order in recycled packaging materials, please let us know, and we will accommodate your request.
For gift orders shipped directly to an address different from the billing address, we generally avoid using recycled materials to ensure a pristine presentation.
