Gunji Pottery Studio- Gunji Seitosho
Gunji Pottery Studio (Gunji Seitousho) is located in Mashiko, a historic pottery town 100 km north of Tokyo. The studio is run by husband-and-wife team Keiko and Tsunehisa Gunji, who create ceramic works both collaboratively and individually. They also work closely with other local artisans as part of a small, skilled team.
Tsunehisa specializes in shaping vessels on the wheel, while Keiko adds her artistry through thoughtful decoration. Together, they produce ceramics designed for everyday use and simple pleasures, reflecting the natural beauty and serene atmosphere of their studio surrounded by nature.
