Woven Textile Record Tote Bag (Biidoro)

A tote bag designed for everyday use, with long handles that can be carried comfortably over the shoulder. Designed to fit vinyl records, it offers a practical and structured form. Designed by Tokyo-based brand kijinokanosei.

The fabric, titled Biidoro (literally meaning “glass”), is a textured tweed woven in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture—an area known for its long tradition of textile production. Made from cotton slub and linen, it features subtle kasuri-dyed threads and softly shimmering accents inspired by decorative glass.

Created using specialized techniques, including foil-accented yarns formed from finely cut film, the fabric reflects the craftsmanship of skilled artisans for the Japanese brand kijinokanosei.
