1. Shipping Locations
We ship worldwide from Japan.
2. Carriers & Shipping Methods
We use reliable carriers including Fedex (for the US), UPS, EMS, and E-packet Economy (Japan Post).
Express and economy options are available at checkout.
Please note: for PO Box deliveries, only postal services (Japan Post) are available.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the weight, volume, and destination of your order.
You’ll be able to choose from available shipping methods with costs and estimated delivery times clearly displayed before completing your purchase.
4. Estimated Delivery Times

Fedex: 4-8 business days
*For FedEx delivery, weekday delivery without signature is the standard option. Faster or signature-required delivery can be arranged for an additional fee. Please email us or leave a note upon checkout if you wish to add these options.

UPS: 3-5 business days

E-Packet Economy: 10-15 business days (Limited tracking, No Signature)
- Surface (Sea) Mail: 2-3 months (available upon request - recommended for heavier/larger items)
Please note: All delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination, time of year, or unexpected conditions such as extreme weather, customs delays, pandemics, or conflict. Rural areas may experience longer delivery times.
5. Order Processing Time
Orders are usually packed and shipped within 3–5 business days of order placement.
During peak periods, processing may take longer.
If your order is time-sensitive, please let us know in the notes at checkout or via email—we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Backorders and pre-orders will be shipped at the later date indicated on the product page.
6. Customs Duties & Taxes
Customers are responsible for any import duties, VAT, or other local charges imposed by the destination country.

All orders are shipped from Japan via FedEx.Duties and taxes are included in the product prices, and brokerage fees are included in the shipping cost, so no additional payment will be required upon delivery.
This means the total you see at checkout is the final amount — there will be no extra fees or charges from FedEx when your order arrives.

EU customers may be charged VAT on orders over €22, including gift orders.
If an order is returned due to refusal to pay import fees, we can only refund the merchandise total. Shipping and gift wrap fees are non-refundable.
7. Restricted Destinations or Items
Some items may be unavailable for shipment to certain countries due to maker agreements. This will be indicated on the product page.
We do not ship to package forwarding addresses. Orders placed with forwarding services may be canceled, or the shipping method may be changed.
8. Preorders & Backorders
If your order contains preorder or backordered items, it will be held until all items are ready to ship.
To receive in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing a separate order.
Backordered items typically ship within 1–2 weeks, unless otherwise noted on the product page.
KIYATA Pre-Orders for 2025 will be shipped in April 2026.
9. Packaging & Gift Wrapping
We pack every order with great care and may use recycled or reused materials (like cardboard and paper) to reduce waste.
If you prefer not to receive recycled packaging, please let us know.
Gift wrapping is available for $2.00 USD per gift. You can request this in your cart and let us know which items to wrap in the notes section.
10. Tracking
All orders include tracking. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number once your package has been dispatched.
