One of our favourite titles in the series features Settai Komura, a designer active from the 1910s through the early 1930s. Working across a wide range of fields -as a Nihonga painter, book designer, and illustrator- he created numerous works for leading authors of his time.
With his refined sense of composition and distinctive decorative style, he opened new horizons in the design of books in modern Japan, making this a particularly rewarding volume to explore.
