This small book is an illustrated diary of drawings and words by artist Mayako Hakusui, based in Onomichi. It presents a selection from her illustrated diary, begun in 2018, featuring drawings and words from 89 days of her everyday life.
As you turn the pages, the creatures that emerge from her imagination, along with the subtle movements of her heart, unfold—drifting in the space between reality and fantasy.
