HAIBARA Postcards - Kawanabe Kyosai (Set of 6)
Ramassage actuellement indisponible
A postcard set featuring designs based on the traditional chiyogami papers of Kawanabe Kyosai, a Japanese painter of the Kano school who was active during the late Edo and Meiji periods and created many designs for HAIBARA.
The richly patterned motifs and vividly colored flowers, expressed with Kyosai’s dynamic brushwork and lively spirit, beautifully capture a sense of vitality and movement.
The decorative patterns evoke scenes of Japan throughout the changing seasons. This set includes one postcard each of six different designs.
