Miyajima Rice Scoop
Ramassage actuellement indisponible
Made from Azusa birch wood which is locally grown in the Hiroshima where the rice scoops are manufactured. Each rice scoop is hand crafted by artisans, carefully polished until it feels smooth both physically and visually, without coating.
There are plastic ones around and often the rice sticks less than those made of wood, but it feels always better to use the ones made of natural materials - if you take a good care of it it lasts a lifetime.
[SHORTDESCRIPTION]
- Measurements: [Smal] 19.5cm × 5.8cm
- Material: Azusa Birch
- Made in Nagano prefecture, Japan
- Care: Soaking in water for a while before use will prevent cooked rice to stick too much on the wood, and it makes it easy to serve. Wash gently and remove rice after use and dry well.
