We would like to inform you of an upcoming change to US import regulations.
Beginning August 29, 2025, new regulations will impact how shipments from Japan (and elsewhere) are processed upon entry into the United States.
The current tax-free allowance for purchases under $800 will no longer apply.
For at least six months from this date, all packages arriving in the US will be subject to customs duties, even for orders valued under $800. These duties are expected to range between $80–$200 per package, depending on the shipment.
Parcels shipped via postal services (such as EMS or Registered Mail, which will be handled by USPS) may temporarily be subject to a flat-rate duty system, starting at $80 per package. This system is expected to remain in place until at least February 2026 and may depend on how USPS adjusts its operations.
This means that any parcel arriving in the US on or after August 29 may incur additional charges upon delivery, payable by the customer.
To ensure your order arrives before these changes take effect, please place your order by Friday, August 22 using UPS shipping. We will dispatch orders in time to help you avoid additional duties*.
*Only for the in-stock items purchases.
As always, we will ship your orders promptly and provide tracking details. Thank you very much for your understanding and continued support.
For any questions or additional details, we recommend checking the U.S. Customs website.
