We are very proud to have the chance to showcase wonderful work by KIYATA to those who live outside of Japan, online here at UGUISU STORE.
There are some conditions set specially for selling KIYATA pieces so please kindly read carefully all of the following before placing your order. We really hope you will enjoy the work of KIYATA that is full of story and charm.

About pre-orders on KIYATA artworks:
Pre-order items are to be created to order, item/s will be shipped in September.
If purchased with non pre-order items, shipping fee will be applied to each item due to different shipping dates.
Each item is carefully made in independent studio in Japan by Kiyata. Items can not be cancelled as they are only limitedly available.
Please note the product may vary slightly in color and size as it is made from wood which is a unique, natural material and all are handmade.

IN STOCK AND PRE-ORDER ITEMS
There are two types of items available for the KIYATA pieces: IN STOCK and PRE-ORDER.
WE LIMIT THE NUMBER OF ITEMS EACH CUSTOMER CAN PURCHASE TO UP TO 2 ITEMS IN THE KIYATA COLLECTION (SMALL ITEMS ARE EXCLUDED).
IN STOCK ITEMS are sold and shipped in 1-2 weeks. These include BASKETS, CANISTERS, HAND CARVED BROOCHES, SMALL HAND MIRRORS, WALL HOOKS, SHOE HORN, and non-handmade brooches and masking tapes.
PRE-ORDER ITEMS will not be shipped now but in September when items are ready. These include LAMPS, WALL CLOCKS, TABLE CLOCKS, BIRD & RABBIT MIRRORS, TOWEL RAIL, BIRD BAG
Acceptance now closed. When the number of total orders in the PRE-ORDER collection reaches the maximum number of orders we can accept, we may close accepting pre-orders even before the end of the exhibition period.
If your order was received after it already met the limit, we will unfortunately cancel your order.
ABOUT SHIPPING
WHERE WE SHIP TO:
We ship to most countries around the globe but unfortunately we are unable to ship to some countries where trackable shipping is temporarily unavailable due to COVID-19. We are also unable to ship to Japan or China as KIYATA holds exhibitions annually - we kindly ask those who live in these countries to try to visit their exhibitions and make their purchases in person.
SHIPPING COST
Shipping is $28 flat rate per item for all countries where EMS shipping is available or UPS Worldwide Expedited for USA and Australia (insurance included) for all KIYATA in stock items. (Large part of the shipping is included in the item price).
*Import tax/custom charges may be required to pay when item arrives to your countries especially in the EU and UK but this will be responsible of customer. If you refuse to pay this and the package gets returned to us we will only be able to refund the amount for the item.
*If you purchase any in stock KIYATA item together with other smaller items that can be shipped together with no extra cost we will make the adjustment and process partial shipping refund.
*Please allow some extra time for the order processing time for all KIYATA online exhibition in-stock items.
*If you purchase items from other makers in our store together with KIYATA pieces, you may be charged double for shipping as some items can not be shipped together. We will make a partial refund if they can be sent together, or please email to add other items.

HANDMADE PRODUTS:
Please, keep in mind that wood is a unique, natural material and all these KIYATA's products are handmade, so you can expect some difference from the images shown and all measurements are approximate and the actual item you will receive may be slightly different.
All KIYATA wooden handcrafted pieces are hand carved from wood that is walnut, most pieces are painted and finished with polymer wood coating and oil. These are all carefully made with love in KIYATA's studio just outside of Tokyo by a small wonderful team.
LIMIT FOR NUMBER OF ITEMS PER CUSTOMER:
Since the number of pieces offered is limited, we Kindly ask each customer to purchase up to 2 items in the KIYATA collection (exclude small items*) so that as many customers as possible who wish to purchase their pieces can have the chance to do so.
*When you have added more than 2 items in your cart you will not be able to complete your order.
*Small Items are Hand Carved Brooches, Small Hand Mirros, and Shoe Horn.
These small items are limited to 5 pieces per customer.
*There is no limit for the non-handmade products such as Tin Brooches, Lasercut Brooches and Masking Tapes.
PRE-ORDER ITEMS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
Please note that all pre-order sales are final once confirmed and we will not be able to accept returns or exchange for all pre-order items. Please check the details of the item and that the items will not arrive before September.
If any unexpected matter arises and delivery may delay we will notify you as soon as we know it.
WE DO NOT ALLOW RESELLING OF KIYATA'S WORK
We offer Kiyata's work here for customers who wish to purchase them for themselves, or for the loved ones. We do not sell to anyone who tries to purchase with intention of reselling the work to make money. Customers in the countries where KIYATA holds exhibitions, kindly visit there and purchase in person. We may cancel any suspicious orders.
