DAIYO is a family-owned business based in Shiga Prefecture, near Kyoto, with a rich history of traditional Japanese candle making dating back to 1914. For over a century, DAIYO has been dedicated to crafting high-quality candles—honoring time-honored techniques while creating designs that also suit modern-day living.

Their rice bran candles are made from wax extracted from rice bran, a byproduct of the rice milling process. This makes them a sustainable, earth-friendly choice that is gentle on both the body and the environment.
