ABOUT THE DESIGN -Hisui-
Hisui means "jade" and the threads, with the vibrant color of emeralds in a jewelry box, are composed of a blend of wool, acrylic, alpaca, and silk. These four materials are not evenly mixed, but are spun in a way that they appear randomly within the yarn.

The resulting unevenness and the varied color transitions give the yarn a hand-spun appearance, a characteristic that comes from the unique techniques of skilled artisans. This irregularity and color variation are what make each piece stand out with its own distinctive charm.

kijinokanosei is a Japanese textile brand launched in 2022, dedicated to reviving the rich textile heritage of Bishu, Aichi Prefecture—one of the world's three major woolen textile hubs. Collaborating with local manufacturers and artisans, kijinokanosei reimagines traditional fabrics for women’s wear and interior items.

True to its name, which means “potential of textiles,” the brand explores the possibilities of fabric itself and the artistry of craftsmanship. Each piece is carefully crafted in domestic factories, with artisans thoughtfully designing the textile structures to reveal the unique character and rich expressions of these fabrics.

Return Policy

Returns Policy

We will only provide a refund in the event of damaged or defective items that we cannot replace. If you wish to return or exchange an item you must first contact us within 7 days of arrival by email at hello [at] uguisustore.com

Pre-ordered or Backordered items, sale or discounted items can not be returned.

We will not be able to accept return or exchange of items if contacted after 7 days of arrival, so please make sure to open the package and check the contents as soon as the package arrives.

All customers are responsible for shipping costs as well as duties on all returned items. We can not refund shipping if the package has already been shipped.

When the package for your order gets returned to us after no re-delivery is arranged when you needed to, we can resend you the package but you will need to pay for the postage again. If you choose to cancel the items, we can refund the amount for the purchased items but not the postage as it has already been shipped and is totally non-refundable.
