Kaori Hamasaki

Kaori Hamasaki is a talented Hariko artist who crafts original figurines by blending traditional techniques with modern designs. Hariko is a Japanese traditional craft with over 400 years of history, created by layering Japanese washi paper over wooden frames, drying them, and then painting them by hand.

Many of Kaori's Hariko creations are made exclusively for UGUiSU, handcrafted in her studio just outside of Tokyo. Each figurine is delicately painted by hand using traditional Japanese pigments.

Hariko figurines often resemble ceramic pieces but are incredibly lightweight due to their hollow, paper-based construction, making them both charming and unique.
