These taper candles are made from 100% rice bran wax, one of the most sustainable and environmentally friendly waxes available.
Rice bran wax candles have a natural warm yellow hue and a gentle, subtle scent of rice bran. They are non-toxic and a thoughtful choice for those with sensitivities such as allergies, as well as for anyone seeking a more environmentally conscious alternative to paraffin candles.
Rice bran is a byproduct of the rice-milling process -the transformation of brown rice into white rice- and is rich in natural antioxidants. For this reason, it has long been used in Japanese beauty and wellness products. In Japan, where rice is deeply embedded in daily life and culture, rice bran has been valued and reused for generations.
