Wrapping Paper {Horse}

Wrapping paper designed by Japanese potter Aya Yamanobe, this 'Horse' pattern is one of Aya's popular designs that is handpainted on her ceramic pieces. Aya has specially drawn this 'Horse' pattern for the wrapping paper.

It is printed on white paper that is shiny on one side and the size is 364 x 515mm (14.3 x 20.3 inch). Sold as a set of 5 sheets, or 10 sheets and each set will be rolled.

Aya Yamanobe is an artisan potter based in Mashiko, which is one of the well-known traditional pottery towns in Japan. Her pieces are created on a hand-wheel and then all very carefully hand painted in her studio in Mashiko. Aya creates her unique pieces of art using the ceramic wares as canvases for her paintings. She creates an imaginary world of whimsy, full of folk-like characters, flora and fauna.
