Persimmon Tannin Kakishibu Dyed Large Cotton Linen Scarf
Pickup currently unavailable
A large cotton linen scarf dyed with kakishibu (persimmon tannin) in a beautifully balanced, two-tone gradient. One half features a warm, earthy brown, while the other transitions into a deeper, greyish tone achieved through careful, repeated iron-mordant dyeing.
Beautifully and organically hand-dyed by textile artist and dyer Yuko Takizawa in Mashiko, this scarf has a slightly crisp, papery feel - a natural characteristic of persimmon tannin dyeing that softens gradually with use while retaining its unique texture.
This cotton linen scarf has a strong presence when worn. Its crisp-soft drape and substantial volume make it perfect for wrapping around the neck or shoulders, adding quiet warmth and texture to your daily style.
Measurements: Approx. 180cm × 63cm / 71" × 25"
Material: 50% Cotton, 50% Linen
Hand-dyed in Mashiko, Japan
Please note that because each piece is dyed individually using natural materials, slight variations in tone and subtle unevenness may occur, making each piece truly unique.
