kijinokanosei Cushion Cover {Fractal} 50 x 50cm

This cushion cover features “Fractal,” a textile by kijinokanosei, adorned with delicate embroidery on soft yet crisp cotton fabric that exudes a quiet, refined charm.

In nature, forms such as billowing clouds, snowflakes, and pinecones share a common trait - the repetition of the same geometric pattern. This natural phenomenon is known as a fractal structure. The embroidery reflects this concept, with motifs that repeat in a playful yet harmonious rhythm.

The cotton fabric is dyed without the use of mechanical pressure. Instead, it is carefully steamed and dyed over time in a washer vat. Most of the process is done by hand, and the fabric is then dried naturally, under the sun and by the strong and dry winds unique to the Enshū region of Shizuoka.

The cushion cover is lined with smooth polyester fabric, making it easy to insert or remove the cushion filling.

It is made from exquisite original woven textile by a Japanese brand kijinokanosei, developed in collaboration with skilled artisans in Japanese textile mills.
