Led by the striped cat captain, the eleven cats embark on one cheerful adventure after another. Beloved by three generations of readers, this classic picture book series has been transformed into a charming kaya-weave cotton dishcloth.

This beautifully made towel features kaya-ori — a traditional open-weave fabric from Nara, originally used for mosquito nets since before the Nara period (710–794). Made from five layers of cotton kaya fabric, they become softer with use, are highly absorbent, and durable for long-term use.

Perfect for drying dishes, wiping tables, drying hands, and other everyday household tasks, they also make a thoughtful small gift or token of appreciation.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
*Wash thoroughly in cold or lukewarm water before first use to remove starch.
