Release the Stone is a beautifully crafted art book by talented Japanese artist Sanae Sugimoto.

This limited-edition volume features 25 of her delicate ink paintings - created for her solo exhibition at Gallery Kaspar in 2023 - rendered in black sumi ink and vibrant vermilion. The works depict flowers, animals, young girls, and the dreamlike landscapes that envelop them.

Each copy includes one original, postcard-sized drawing, exclusively hand-drawn by the artist.

Hardcover with cloth binding, foil stamping, and housed in a sturdy slipcase.
