Beautifully crafted pocket notebook/journal covered with exquisite Japanese Chiyogami (traditional Japanese washi paper with patterns)that was originally produced in the Meiji Period (1868-1912) by a long-established Japanese washi dealer HAIBARA with history over 200 years ago since the Edo period in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

This listing is for the Florets and Arabesque (Kobana-Karakusa), an elegant design with delicate and rhythmical small flowers in gold background. The exquisite pattern is designed over 100 years ago but it never seems to look old and it is one of our favorite historical designs from the Haibara collection.
The cover is Chiyogami-covered hard cover and inside are smooth fine paper with ruled lines. 160 pages.
