Handcrafted pottery mug by local Mashiko potter Shigetomo OCHIAI, made with locally sourced clay and glaze in Mashiko.

The simple, straight-lined form is softened by the subtle irregularities of handmade pottery - gentle variations in the lines, glaze, and earthy tones give each mug its own character. The result is a quiet, unpretentious piece with a warm, natural feel.

Its generous handle makes it comfortable to hold, making it a lovely companion for everyday coffee or tea.
