This long scarf is made from exquisite original woven textile "matsuribayashi" (see about the design below) by a Japanese brand kijinokanosei, developed in collaboration with skilled artisans in Japanese textile mills. Made at a quarter width of the full fabric to minimize waste, it embodies both beauty and sustainability. This textile is characterized by a sashiko-inspired weave, with different textures on the front and back. (more about the design below)

Measuring approximately 218 cm (about 86 inches) in length, the scarf provides versatile styling options and can also be used beautifully as a table runner. With a unique pattern on each side, it lets you switch between two distinct looks to suit your mood.

ABOUT THE DESIGN -Matsuribayashi-
Matsuribayashi refers to the traditional festival music in Japan. The fabric features a sashiko-inspired weave with distinct expressions on both the front and back. From the front, it appears as a collection of dots, while from the back, the fabric forms a pattern resembling stars in a row. The use of acrylic-blend wool threads in orange and yellow creates vibrant, vivid colors. Due to the irregularities in the weave and the natural stretching and shrinking of the yarns, the fabric is carefully adjusted during the weaving process to ensure no issues arise on the loom, resulting in a beautifully intricate tweed.
