Origami Postcard Book {Neko/Cats}
Pickup currently unavailable
This postcard book features fun graphics and unique origami patterns that allow you to create your own small origami cats when folded.
This book includes 24 origami sheets themed around cat-related Japanese proverbs and idioms, such as “Neko wo kaburu” (Put a Cat Over One's Head, meaning to put on airs or hide one's true personality) and “Neko ni matatabi” (Give Catnip to the Cat, meaning to make effective use of what you have).
Each sheet can be detached and used as a postcard, making it both a fun and practical craft book.
The Origami series is created by Cochae, a design unit by Yosuke Jikuhara and Miki Takeda, who work under the theme of "designing play." In 2003, they began creating graphic origami with the concept "Make origami more pop!" within the classical world of origami.
