THE WISDOM OF YOU is a compilation of illustrations by Hana Akiyama a widely and internationally acclaimed illustrator working for books, advertising, magazines, websites, packaging, CDs, newspapers, etc.

All artworks included in this petite zine were created for Hana's recent exhibition of the same title held in Tokyo which she showed illustrations conveying the everyday questions that arise, the realizations made, and the joys and anxieties that have emerged from her experience raising a toddler.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hana Akiyama graduated from Tama Art University with a concentration in Graphic Design, completing preliminary research in Graphic Design for the same university’s doctoral course.
Hana's areas of illustration include books, advertising, magazines, websites, packaging, CDs, newspapers, etc.
She has exhibited her works and won numerous awards both in Japan and overseas, including a New York ADC Award in 2014.
Her illustrations are currently a regular feature of the magazines “Kurashi no techo,” and “tocotoco”.

Orders are shipped from Japan using Japan Post mail services or UPS international courier services.

Returns Policy

We will only provide a refund in the event of damaged or defective items that we cannot replace. If you wish to return or exchange an item you must first contact us within 7 days of arrival by email at hello [at] uguisustore.com

Pre-ordered or Backordered items, sale or discounted items can not be returned.

We will not be able to accept return or exchange of items if contacted after 7 days of arrival, so please make sure to open the package and check the contents as soon as the package arrives.

All customers are responsible for shipping costs as well as duties on all returned items. We can not refund shipping if the package has already been shipped.

When the package for your order gets returned to us after no re-delivery is arranged when you needed to, we can resend you the package but you will need to pay for the postage again. If you choose to cancel the items, we can refund the amount for the purchased items but not the postage as it has already been shipped and is totally non-refundable.
