'hitohana' - literally translates to "single flower" - is a series of petite linen flower brooches/cosarges created to match with the paintings of flowers and birds from the Edo-period (1603-1868) by popular artists from the era that vividly depict Japanese flora and fauna. Each linen brooch is beautifully packaged in a fine lidded box with the artwork of the matching motif on the inside of the lid ready and perfect to be gifted.

This listing is for Cherry Blossom and matching artwork is "Droopoing Cherry and Bullfinch" by Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) who is one of the most famous Ukiyo-e artists in the late Edo period.
