HAIBARA Chiyogami Accordion Notebook
Beautifully crafted accordion notebook/journal covered with exquisite Edo style cherry blossoms design Chiyogami washi paper that was originally produced in the Meiji Period (1868-1912) by a very exclusive Japanese washi dealer HAIBARA. HAIBARA exported the very first Chiyogami (washi paper with beautiful designs and colours) to Europe and this design is from the original pattern.
This kind of notebook is called goshuincho literally, an “honorable stamp/seal book” and they are used by people visiting shrines or temples to collect stamp and signature from each temple or shrine in Japan. The goshuincho are great to use as stamp books, journal, scrapbook, sketch book, and so on. Great for gift.
