These kaya gauzy fabric kitchen cloths made by the Shirayuki Towels are larger and thinner than the other Shirayuki towels and are quicker to dry and perfect for drying dishes or glasses and lacquer-ware. Sashiko like stitches are done in colour thread in the pattern that has a good luck meaning in Japan. Linen is mixed together with cotton which makes these towels more durable. The starch needs to be washed off before the first use.
